Giving Feedback Directly in Slack

Many teams us WorkStory largely through the integration with Slack. As such, we want to make it as easy as possible for team members to share feedback with one another without having to leave the Slack workspace.

Slack Slash Commands

To enable feedback in Slack, we've created a new slash command. These are shortcut actions to give the user a faster way of managing a task.

By simply entering "/give-feedback", WorkStory users can share feedback instantly without having to log into the web platform.

To use the /give-feedback command...

1. In your Slack workspace, type "/give-feedback" and hit enter
2. Select the team member you'd like to give feedback to - you can type in the field to search for their name
3. Write the feedback comment
4. Select how visible you would like your feedback to be, then submit
