Connecting Your Slack Account

If your team uses Slack for communication, we'd suggest that you use that as your preferred communication channel. With the integration setup, you'll be able to complete reviews, provide feedback, and see your performance directly through Slack.

We'd rather you spend your time in a tool you're already using, to get things done.

When setting up the Slack integration it's important to note that you're not adding a new channel to your organization or Slack workspace, instead, you're establishing a direct chat with the WorkStory platform. So no need to worry about visibilities or advanced permissions. You are the only one who can see and interact with the chat.

Getting Started as an Administrator or Employee

To connect your Slack to Workstory...

1. Log in to your account on WorkStory
2. Go to "Settings" in the left-hand menu
3. Click the "Sign in with Slack" button and make sure you have the correct workspace selected
4. After completion, make sure Slack is your preferred communication option.
