Welcome to WorkStory!
We're here to help you get up and running with the WorkStory process. Before you do though, we recommend you checking out our What is WorkStory? page to get a better understanding of why we do things the way we do!
Ok, here's how you can get started...
1. Account Verification
You will be receiving an email invitation from WorkStory. Follow the enclosed link to verify your account. Please check your spam folder if you haven't received an email.
Alternatively, if you’ve done that already, you can log in here.
2. Communication Tools Integration
If your team uses email as the primary method of communication, no need to worry about this—you can move on to step 3! If you happen to use one of Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Webex, we invite you to connect so that you can receive review requests there. To do so, visit the "Personal Information" page, located under the Profile tab. On top of integrating with your tools, you'll also be able to optionally add a profile picture.
Here are some additional instructions if needed:
3. Completing Reviews
Since you're just getting started, you won't have any performance metrics to go through. In the meantime though, you'll begin receiving review requests.
When you receive a question, answer it to the best of your ability, keeping these scoring principles in mind. Be as honest as you can be (your reviews are anonymous), it will only help others to know what they can do to be better teammates.
If prompted to leave a comment for a review, make sure to give some constructive feedback!
4. Requesting Feedback
Once you begin collecting information based on teammates or managers completing reviews for you, you'll begin to see metrics and trends on your dashboard. Have fun, poke around, and make sure to request feedback as often as you'd like. Your profile is meant to be a window into your performance - giving you a better understanding of how well you're doing, where you're excelling, and where you can do better.
Don’t forget you can also leave feedback for others to help them with their own development!

5. Goal Setting
If your team is taking advantage of Goal-Setting, you’ll want to check out the guide we’ve put together to explain how to easily draft, edit, and update your goals within the system.
